Breastfeeding 101

Service Description

This in-person class taught by Tiffany Guardado, M.S. CCC-SLP, IBCLC, is tailored to teach expectant parents the foundational skills to begin their breastfeeding journey. It is recommended that this two hour interactive class to be taken during the third trimester of pregnancy. The topics covered in class include the benefits of breastfeeding, anatomy/physiology, positioning/latching techniques, stages of lactation, nutrition during lactation, how to know your baby is getting enough, and resources available.
